I should have had a nice rabbit curry in late March, but the bunnies went and hid when me and Aggy and Munty went out looking!!!!!

But we had some lovely crab!!!!!

Perhaps you were looking in the wrong place then?

No, Paddy cause Munty was in charge!!!!

oh my favourite.
I simmer it in water - to soften it.  Debone it and then have a casserole with potatoes, parsnips, swede, carrots - whatever is available. Or a rabbit pie -  I think it has a delicate flavour and better without the messy bones. My local butcher charges £3 per rabbit

I do not like the smell when I am tenderising it though - but perseverance pays.

In a stew or pie, and we used to fight over the bulbs when we were kids. We used to flick the gutz out for the ferrets.

winkle picking (i picked so many winkles when i was younger along the coast the seaweed came so thick and bad on the rocks because the winkles wernt there. We used to bag them up and my dad would go into the beach at high tide with his boat, winch them up and take them to the local fisheries.

As kids we used to love grilled rabbit (soaked in salt water first b4 cooking).  Dad won't give me any more rabbits now(meanie  ) because he's giving them all to his feral cats (this year's babies).  Thier need is greater than ours I suppose!  Anyway if he had shot any rabbits for us I love the rabbit satay recipe (Fearnley eatsitall's recipe I'm afraid).
Thoughts lead on to purposes; purposes go forth in action; actions form habits; habits decide character; and character fixes our destiny
