At the weekend we bought some heated propagators(£12.99 Wyvale along with half price t&m seeds)So is it too early to sew peppers and aubergines?

thanks.will just go and dig bag of compost out of the snow to thaw it out.I thought about toms but I only have an unheated greenhouse so they would probably get too leggy by the time i could put them out, especially if we have a spring like last year.

I've planted some toms and peppers already - my greenhouse is also unheated, but I think I'll do some more in a few weeks then choose the best ones come planting time.

If your growing on a window sill, use some empty fruit juice cartons, wash them out and open the up, stand them next to the pots/trays with the shiny side facing the window, light bounces back onto the plants giving a more even distribution of light.
