First time of growing peppers - they were green but now have some black (dark) patches on them - the chilli's did similar and have now gone red - will the peppers do the same or do they have poorlyness?

All help useful as dont realy know much about them!!

   No need to worry mine did the same .They were lovely green to start with and after awhile they got darker but are now a lovely red and very tasty.Best of luck

Hi titch, mine have done the same as yours, so I have put them in the greenhouse, and removed the shading,  |I only just thought of that, derrrrrr.    Mrs  Bouquet

As Jarigo says, this is just part of the ripening process, the same happens to Chillis as well. They go blackish then red..

Thank you, i did think thats what was going on, but with blight and other stuff happening i wanted to check.

Cant wait to sample them,  thank you
