Don't worry if it seems runny, use a slotted spoon to scoop and jar up.
Then jar up the remaining runny stuff left in the pan and seal and label.

If you are going to store chutney and pickle it may dry out a little and if so, you've then got juices you can add back into it.

If you don't need to use it for that purpose, you can then use it for BBQ and Cook-in Sauces

Hi beetroot queen, please could you tell me your runner bean recipe, and where did you get the lovely glow-worm rhyme.  I cracked up laughing when I saw it.  Did you make it up ?  Mrs Bouquet

I have a glut of runners and found a recipe for green bean pickle in the recipes section on the site.  Might make some later today as I have no freezer space for them.  Be nice for crimbo.
Cheese makes everything better.

Not sure where it came from  :? the MIL makes it and I cant ask her as she stopped talking to us about 4 years ago LOL  :D

once made some fantastic brown sauce from old jar of chutney found lingering at the back of the cupboard , was really sad to see the end of it .
