I'm really please with mine, they look similar to BJ's The bigest one is about 6" and we have about at least 6 on our plants on the veggie patch. Great news is that we have an old compost heap and a great big plant started growing in it, turned out to be BNS, there are another 4 on that!! Lets hope they don't rot!!!

May try the biggest one this week :)

No secret really.

This is my third year of trying to grow squashes. The first two years were similar to yours.

This year I planted the plants into my dumping ground/grass clipping pile, which is higher off the ground.

The fully grown squashes were the ones I managed to pollinate by hand, as it was so wet and there were not many flying insects to pollinate. I've still got just as many rotten squashes.

I've fed the plants and kept watering too and cut away the leaves so the squashes get the light/sun.

So not much then really! :D

I have had Spaghetti squash for Tea tonight.
Lightly boiled and served with a tomato, onion, garlic and courgette sauce.
Absolutely lovely and all home grown.

There are three signs of old age. The first is your loss of memory, the other two I forget.

OMG I love spagetti squash. My Dad grew it when I was a kid!
