After a short while you'll be able to gauge how much they eat, just give them that amount.
If I have any left lying around i dust pan & brush it up :shock: I know it sounds silly but it's helped me keep them away.

Thanks for that advice...They will be contained in the shed, that has been converted thanks hubby.. with the ducks, during the night until they will be let out in a morning. So I will feed them after thay have had a roam around. Then perhaps take the food off them what they have left and put down again later in the afternoon to take away at night.. :?
