Great idea Auntie, but with my lot plus the turkeys, I'd need about 100 Eglu's and 50 cubes!!!!!!    :lol:  :lol:

I'd say keep it and get yourself some more chickens!!!  So what if you can't get into your garden?  The chickens won't mind you watching them from the kitchen window!!!! lol

:) i don't know if this imformation is any good,but i have 13 girls and its only my second year of keeping live stock,this is when i got my allotment,
now the old chap next to me has  been keeping birds for quite a few years,he set me off on the doo's and don'ts and he told me to lime my coop on a regular basis with pigeon lime,every day i clean all the droppings off their perch's and then lime,and touch wood i havn't had any problems up to now :)

very simalar but it doesn't burn,the old guy told me you must not use garden lime,all these pigeon flyers use it on a regular basis and some of these birds are worth alot of money,so i thought if its good enough for his prize pigeons who am i to contradict, its good enough for my 13 flock.
