The weather is amazingly good.  :)

I've been cleaning bricks this morning and plan to lay some this afternoon. I will deffo be mowing the grass as soon as i go and get some petrol for the mower.

Have you tried the blowtorch method btw ???  Richie swears by it.

Know what you mean. If you wetted it first, it many protect the timber but still shrivel the critters.

I know when I've done plumbing close to timber, it smoulders nicely but rarely catches.

Just to be different I put wood glue on the end of the perch bars ( nice and smooth no where for the B*@gers to hide).  Sorry really don't want to use the flame. I will clear them out.
I will.
I will.
I will.

I'm sure they'll go soon. I wonder if there's new strains developing that are resistant to some of the chemicals.

I'll be happy never to see one in the flesh.

Just did a search for duramitex and in the thread I was reading, someone reckons red mites don't like dettol. Maybe won't kill them, but gets them out of the crevices.

Might assist in finding them at least.

ps. Couldn't find anything about duramitex itself. :(

You can still purchase it from ebay though.  I have emailed Harkers (the makers) to ask why they discontinued it.
