Right then.

Bare minimum 1sq metre/hen. OK if out all day. Otherwise, more the better.
Roof of corrugated plastic or similar.
Welded mesh at least 19g galvanised. Pref 25x13mm mesh or smaller.
Tall enough to walk into, with gate.
Bury bottom edge at least 6", pref more.
Also slabs around edge.
Floor can be bare earth with soft bark chippings or similar to dig in and prevent mud.
Pref contain logs/timber structure to climb and perch on. Move stuff around occasionally to avoid boredom.
