Advice for 1st Autumn on plot

We are hoping to grow Japanese onions, garlick, and of course broard beans, what else is good for autum planting?
Dangerous with a trowel!

spring onions are `worth a go and late potatoes can work now for a Christmas glut but you will need to cloche up next month or so to have a chance of getting any. :lol:

You probably ought to look at your local nurserys for plants now, but I am growing Kale, spring greens, Purple Sprouting brocoli, Spinach, and Chard through the winter, but all are at seedling stage now (4") so you may need to get plants, and netting!! and slug pellets, blooming slugs, eatting my chard!!
