Will a 6x4 shed be enough for 12 chickens??

Yes if they have a sizeable run or free range.

hi there , i have had my 14 girls just over a week  now and they live in a 6'4 shed that is attached to a 6' 3 wall garden storage shed{ that one is used for the nest boxes } and so far they are getting on really well. also with the shed i placed some guttering on the side of it an place some food in there an they all run in after it without any stress. i have taken out 4 planks of each shed so they can go in an out when they please.

we have the same size shed, but for less girls, however my beloved did builts some nest boxes and cut out some of the side of the shed, opposite to window and attach boxes, then to help support but some wooden stakes under it - works well until they decide to nip and come lay on the bale of sawdust thats always there in the garage!
