Hello all. Can anyone give me some advice about making a polytunnel that will be built on concrete with raised beds filled with bag bought soil and compost?! I am also planning on putting guttering on to collect rain water!!!
Very odd I know-any ideas and advice would be great please!!! Making it end of September.
Please help me- I'm an allotment novice.

I think you might have a problem there.

With a polytunnel you need to fix the tubes into the ground which would be a problem on a concrete base, and you normally bury the polythene sheet in soil in a trench to secure it.

As for attaching guttering that too is a bit tricky as there isn't really anything to fix them to.

If you could work out a way of collecting rain water from a polytunnel at anything higher than ground level then please let me know because I'd love to do it from mine.

To be honest your best bet sounds like a greenhouse really.

Sorry.
