OK, noticed some strange behaviour today in my Pekin (the he/she!)

Fraggle, my silkie, was stood up and Violet, the pekin, was laying down behind to her. Violet then moved closer, from behind, and put her head between fraggles legs and started walking forwards - almost looked as if violet was trying to get under fraggle!?

Anyone got any ideas on what the hell violet was trying to do!?!?
