Wasps in the compost!

Whatever next! What should I do? I don´t want to spray any poison in there. Will they die off in winter, and then I can empty the composter and get rid of the nest, if there is one? I´m terrified to go anywhere near them.

I shouldn't worry. They probably found something to eat in there. They usually visit my heaps this time of year.
