Oh I dunno then    Those Nice ones are supposed to be tennis ball size, but if left, could they not grow bigger? They do say that regular courgettes can grow the size of a marrow if left.

They look like round courgettes to me.  I have some very similar, just use as an ordinary courgette or stuff and roast.

Hope that helps,
Ali

a lady in my village was selling things like this.  it was flatted, more kind of squashed.  yours looks more like the round version of a courgette, and maybe this one was at one stage but had flattened out as it got larger.

anyway it was just like a courgette inside.  so i sliced it into 3 horizontally, then one night i stuffed the bottom (actually it looked more like a pizza), the next night i stuffed the top which had more of a hollow rather than being flat.  and the the middle ring has been used as cubes for veg with meals.

i must see if she has any more.  there were 4 when i got mine.

hope it turns out edible and tasty whatever it is.
