This is (I think) German Red Strawberry......gorgeous flavour and a very beautiful shape! :)

That's ripe early Aggy ! Did you grow it indoors ?

My German Red Strawberries (same source as yours) are just beginning to colour outdoors.

i love unusual/different shapes and varieties.  i never have been one to confirm to the norm/expected/usual!

given the name (strawberry) are they sweeter in flavour or do you think that refers more to the shape?

Grew them in the greenhouse.....too blooming cold here!!!! They are a very sweet tomato but I think it's because of their shape. :)

I usually grow my toms in the greenhouse but only have room for about 3 plants in my tiny greenhouse. So I'v grown them outside this year.  Takes much  l o n g e r .
