Gave it another gentle tug and it will not budge.

Thanks Vember. The OH thinks it could be like skin that is growing in a sworl. May be all I will have to do is trim it?

Agree with Aggy. It looks like a polyp-type thing of some sort. Not sure what they are but they're a sort of growth in the nose.

A friend had one but I didn't go into too much detail! :shock:

I am glad I take photos. I think it has been there since i got her. But I have only had her for a week and a half.

see what you think. These photos are cropped but where taken on day one and two of getting her!! I knew photos where a good thing. Just took me a week and half to notice it!!!!!

What course of action should I take?

Do you think it's bothering her ?

If not, I'd leave it but keep an eye on her.

I would leave it alone or take her to a vet (who won't know what it is either :oops: ). Don't think cutting off things when we don't know what it is sounds fun. It might have a nerve or blood supply.

I'm no vet or Dr but defo agree with Kate,
in my limited experience things like that do tend to have a blood supply

and round the head area it wouldn't stop bleeding :shock:

And it'd probably sting quite a bit too !! :shock:

I would have thought it's only a problem if it appears inside the mouth and might block the throat or breathing holes.

Think of it as a feature
