Grannie Annie is certainly someone you could contact. We got our Amberlinks from her, as did several other members, and they're reliable layers.

Whereabouts in Lincs are you agingchick ?

I have checked out her web site and there aren't any available at the moment. An empty hen house is so sad.

As some of you know, my current POL's are all reserved, and my next lot of Amberlinks are not ready until Mid October.

Poultrymad are a bit expensive to my mind, about £25 a bird for hybrids, and the one stop poultry shop at Belton packed up earlier this year.

There is one at Friskney, but please DON'T go there!  We got our first POL's from her last year and they were okay, but I've had stories from people who have had hens from me that the ones they've bought from her die very quickly, (could be cocciddiosis)  and another lady who joined this forum said friends of hers had bought a lot from her and they were all infested with red mite and lice.

I used to give people her number when I couldn't help, but I won't do it again!!!
