moving globe artichokes

Wonder if someone can help me please.  I'm growing globe artichokes for the first time and have realised that I have planted them far too close to the edge of the bed.  Does anyone know when is the best time to move them please?  They're about two foot tall at the moment.  thanks in advance.

I am guessing here, but i think the best time to move them would be early spring, same sort of time you would move rhubarb and asparagus.

Well, I'd not bother moving them at all, Sunflower, whatever your reason might be.  Just plant up off sets where you want them 2 years on spring time.
