A glut of tomatoes here.  Loads ripening at the same time.  I have Tigrella, Black Cherry Sungella and Moneymaker.  After last years wipeout I am very happy with my crop.

Last year I had loads of green toms just hanging onto life.  I picked them and left them on a windowsill.  They ripened eventually and I made then into tomato sauce for the freezer.
Cheese makes everything better.

take your toms off the plant and hang them in another place ? place a BANANA SKIN CLOSE TO THE TOMS ,

start feeding your tom plants once a week with feed and water them a further 2 times before feeding

And down in southeast London, I also have loads of hard green fruit, and the plants are still producing more flowers, but I'm sure they'll redden when they reddy ;-)

mine started to turning 2 weeks ago but skins are very tuff, I have grown toms for years but never had tuff skins, they seem to have taken ages to rippen this year. they have been fed every week. Never short of water, do you think its worth leaving them or shall I get the green hse ready for the winter?

You NEVER give up on tomatoes.

Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Good mate was down all weekend from Dumfries. He's been harvesting toms for a couple of weeks.

Mine are miles behind, except basket ones (tumbling tom) which are just ripening now.
It's a fine line between hobby and mental illness.

Outdoor ones are turning now, but no sign on greenhouse ones yet.
Will have to eat that hanging banana soon    But will re-hang the skin, & might add another cos greenhouse is a bit bigger than fruit bowl. Can't hurt?

Not much sign of ripening on mine except  three mini yellow toms that i forgot about at the top of the garden and are still in 4in pots never been looked after not a scrap of tender loving care and what! loaded with toms and ripening  . Think next year shall neglect toms and see what happens I reckon mine are enjoying themselves too much to do anything!
