Yes we grew them in the yellow tub trugs. Didn't get as much as last year but that was because I didn't add extra compost when I should have done.

They did taste delicious though

I bought them last year because B&Q were selling them for £2 which I thought was a good price for a big container. I put 3 spuds in each one and get anywhere for 1.2kg to 2.2kg per bucket (depending on variety and if I add extra compost soon enough).

As you can see our four year old loves digging then out

Red duke of york, chosen by our son. They tasted very good but the skins were a little tough
