Runner Beans wont stop growing!
« on: August 07, 2008, 13:46 »
This is my first year growing runner beans and they have shot up really quick.

They are now at the top of the canes they have been growing around and are now trying to attach themselves onto near by trees.

I dont have any beans growing yet, just lots of red flowers, should I be cutting the tops of the plants to stop them growing or should I just leave them to do there thing.

I would chop the tops of myself, they will thicken up lower down if you do
