So Bertha2 went to the nice vet today and he gave her an antibiotic injection, we all thought she was gonna die there and then :shock:  :shock: the vets face was a picture tho we think now it cos it must have hurt :cry:  :cry: anyway, I have the very dubious task of doing the same again tomorrow, if she makes it. She pooed on the vets table and that looked normal, the only other thing I have noticed is that her feet (and the others that died) got really cold :? she is looking very sorry for herself now so fingers and everything else crossed.

Trudi, welcome back, PICCIES please. I do have some stuff to put in the water but I think I might get some extra vitamins for them, a lot of the others are moulting so it wont be a bad idea.

I have some stuff called Biaprim which is for coccidiosis and stuff. I am trying to get that in her tho it didnt do much for the last one she looked really sorry for herself again this morning but is eating and drinking, the last two did that right up to last hour :? I am gritting my teeth and preparing myself to give her the 2nd injection :shock:  YIKES not looking forward to that, but if it helps

Well little Orpy seems like she may be pulling through. I gave her the injection yesterday with a lot of Reiki thrown in with it. She didnt bat an eyelid :shock: so different from the day before. Anyway, today she is eating and drinking even more, doesnt look so hunched and even had a go at scratching around which is the biggest sign so far that she may be on the mend. I am trying not to get too excited tho cos I know how fragile they are but watch this space

Had her last injection this afternoon, still looking not too bad we shall see in the morning.
