This little lady brought trouble home with her today.

and whats more, she refuses to say who the father is.

She came out of the long grass this morning as bold as brass. I rather hope that the dad is one of the Light Sussex cockerels because at least the lickle chickens should grow up into reasonable dinners. :roll:

Having fed and watered them she marched them back into cover.

Also the mother hen is a very nice looking bird, where would I be able to get one the same breed?

Aaah, but have you got a cockerel the same breed? Lastly are they good eating or good laying? I wouldn't like to have meat birds with such a small flock.
