Grapes being eaten by bees
« on: August 02, 2008, 10:54 »
My beautiful grapes, ripe for eating - I can't get near them because of dozens of donkey bees (hornets I think) methodically eating their way through them all for the last 3 days.  Any suggestions - if I try pesticide will they attack me?

I didn't know any variety of bee would 'eat' fruit, I thought that was only wasps... well I think that's right in the UK anyway.

Sorry, don't know the answer for you but hopefully someone will be along with some help shortly for you

welcome to the site too  :D
