Does anyone know of way to store early potatoes.
We were about a month, six weeks behind normal planting times but now have a load of large (4-5 inchs across) of early potatoes that seem to have a reasonable skin on them.
I know I can make various soups, mash etc and freeze them but would like to know if anybody has successfully stored earlies for any lenghth of time.

I manage to store Arran Pilot for a good 3 months in large paper sacks in a cool dry shed.

Depends on variety, but most will store a few months, some with long dormancy period, like Charlotte and Orla store as main crop till spring.

You try, should be able to eat them till Christmas.  Even those with short dormancy should not start sprouting much before that.
