Just checking my broody and her 9 eggs and one was broken...thankfully no chick developing inside so not too tragic, just wondering now how all the others are doing.  They have been under the hen 2 weeks tommorow......

Have you tried candeling any of the eggs?? What sort are they, some are easier to see than others, I've found these two links they might be useful

at 2 weeks you should be able to tell clearly which eggies are viable. with a good light source, you can see from 3 days.

i use a cheep 25 led torch, that i got from ebay. it even lets you see into dark welsummer eggs. whereas a high lume can cost upto £60

Bit busy with daughter's wedding this weekend, but when I have taken my posh hat off .....I'll find a bright light and have a look....I will feel so sorry for her if nothing is happening as she has hardly left them, just a quick snack, poo and back on the eggs!!!!!
