Day 1 for my Ex-Bats

No, no other chickens, this is my first attempt at hen keeping. blooming Chris Evans' fault. Downloaded a podcast, and listened to it on a plane to somewhere, and he spoke of the virtues of re-charged batteries.

Must write and thankhim for all the fun we've had already !

Egg count is now 3 !! From 4 ex-bat's in the first day !

Top entertainment. Just got one that refuses to come out to eat & drink, so we'll see what tomorrow brings. She'll take food from my hand, I think she's just a bit nervous, or agrophobic perhaps !
