Do chickens get on well with nettles?

I'm just about to pick up 4 layers this weekend...The run and house are all set but it's taken me a while and some nettles have grown in and around the area...Was wondering if I'll have to clear them first or if the chucks will sort them out.

Still to find a dependable chicken feed provider in the Lincoln area...Looks like I'll have to travel miles or ebay it at this rate unless anyone out there has any ideas?
