Me and Gerry going to Doncaster

Well BIG thanks to chooknewbie coz Gerry, my white Campbell drakelet has a new home. I'm taking him up to Doncaster and his new lady friend tomorrow so I don't have to worry about his emerging Oedipus complex!!!
Going to miss him but just TOO many drakes (even for my increasing number of girls  ).
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

Great news !
He'll be a happy bunny (or ducky) now.  :D

You should have organised a South Yorkshire meet while you were there.

Could have got all the Donny, Rotherham and Sheff members.

He should be OK till tues but they are not happy animals by themselves at all. Glad he is going to have a friend soon. Think he will be a bit traumatised to begin with as he is a bit highly strung but absence making the heart grow stronger and all that :?

Don't know what for the best. Know that when he was by himself after his siblings were killed he was really distressed but he was only 2 weeks old at the time. Not sure what he will be like now but I think they really need company but sure he would get over it if he had to spend a couple of days alone. Really grateful for all you have done already, wouldn't want you to have to run the gauntlet of child tractor obsession
