I have the first tassles on my sweetcorn. Of all the things I thought you could grow, I never would have imagined I would ever have been able to grow my own sweetcorn but it looks like it is doing o.k.

I'll take a pic tomorrow...

How exciting!  Such a feeling of accomplishment.    I got my first tassels this week too, but my plants are only about three feet tall.  Actually, my crazy heirloom tomatoes from seed which refuse to flower are taller than the corn plants.  Oh well.

No. But I earthed mine up a bit yesterday, and gave them a good drink of comfrey tea (just showing off 'cause I read it in John's book yesterday - Page 231)
