Romanesque broccoli
« on: July 22, 2008, 16:22 »
I checked my romanesque broccoli last week and I had one head forming nicely.  Looked again at the weekend and it has run to seed for no apparent reason.  Not short of water, growing well just gone.  Very disappointed as I have been trying to grow these for a few years and never really have much luck.  Not like the ones you get in the supermarkets.  My cabbages on the other hand are huge and very tasty.  I might give up on these next year.
