Oh and keep an eye on her breathing, particulary if she starts to look a little "full" around the belly -if she is not laying maybe a yolk may have slipped into her abdomen and can cause peritonitis -dont panic though (I know you do!!!
)it can happen with hens laying soft shelled eggs and a symptom can be laboured breathing as fluid builds up around the air sacs putting pressure on the lungs .It can be sorted though and often just gets absorbed back in to the hen but it can make the hen feel a bit peaky and lose appetite and condition.
