....i was told from my farmer friend not to use Jeyes with the chickens....cant remember why he said not to, just registered that I shouldnt use Jeyes....yet most people on here seem to use it.... no-one had any problems with it?

Old fashioned Jeyes, which the farmer may have been referring to, was a different formulation to the type you can buy today :!:

Thinking getting two Australorps and a Marren. Might get growers rather than POL or a mixture. What are your thoughts.

Never had either breeds Roughlee so can't really say?

Best bet is to ask Foxy about the Australorps I know she has at least one 'cause it's just raised her runner ducks for her.

If it were me I'd prob go for Growers then you can get them in tiptop condition before they start laying, so long as you can tell whats what sex wise :?
