Ours are only just really taking off now, after a very slow start - How are other folk doing?
Still glowing, still growing, still going strong!

Mine are about 4' tall now and just starting to flower, they do seem to have been struggling, along with my french beans, sweetcorn and squashes.

Our's are doing really well on their Munty frame. I'm seriously impressed with it (the frame). We've eaten lots, given some away and frozen some. It seems like every day there is another handful to pick! Next year i think we'll use canes rather than strings on the frame tho, as the weight of the foliage and beans is making the strings sag quite a lot. We're the first ones to use a Munty on our site - it's caused quite a bit of interest. Wonder h  ow many others there will be next year?!

picked a handful at the weekend.   Have loads of flowers too, so expect a good harvest.  The man on the plot next door has been picking his for well over 3 weeks though

Having only got a tiny garden, my runner bean is in a container with a delayed one putting up a good fight to grow. I've plenty of red flowers on it (enorma)and quite a few beans developing now. Had a good crop with these beans last yr too. If it doesn't rain it gets well watered daily and fed weekly, doing well

Seems to be a north south divide on runner beans ! we've got loads of flowers at the bottom. But slow to climb the new Munty Frame. Seems the Cold/Wet summer, Winds etc here in the midlands is not what beans like ! Midlands up equals slow growth while south England is picking, eating and freezing.
