hey...almost there!!

The coop is all put together and awaiting the chucks which, hopefully, I'll pick up tonight or tomorrow? Just waiting for a call!  

I'm just running through what I still need to get, I have my organic feed, grit and oyster shells. Here are my thoughts...

Buy some red mite/lice powder mix it in with some sharp sand I have, place it in a small tray as a dustbath

Woodshavings for the bottom of the coop

Straw for the nets box (I have 1 large nest box which I was assuming would have dividers but no...so....should I bother making dividers? I could get 3 seperate nest box areas in the one nest box)

Mixed Corn as a wee treat for the girls! (I spotted a whole bunch of dandelions earlier and I'm gonna go back to 'harvest them' later...does that make me sad?   )

Apple cider vinegar for their water

Plastic drinkers/feeders

Now....have I forgotten anything???

Sounds like you have it all under control! Dib dib dib!You can never be too prepared!Good luck,hope you get your phone call   I'm waiting patiently for my coop to be delivered,beginning of Aug.Seems like I've been waiting ages!last time I felt like this was when I was pregnant & 12 days over due! :shock:

Diatom? Is that a powder to put in the dust bath?

Our nest box is about 18" wide and they're happy to lay in it without dividers.

Think you have it about covered.
