Have a look at the website www.merebrow.com.  They have a section on how to grow a giant....very interesting, but quite a lot of work by the looks of it.  I thought I would give it a go this year and bought some seed from their website.  They sent me an extra seed, so if you want to pm me with your address Denbo I'll post it to you.  Apparently it's from a 400lb pumpkin which was a sibling of the current 912lb UK record holder!  Not sure I want to match that though!  I have also read that a couple of pints of beer every day is a secret to growing a monster.  Luckily I have that angle covered too, as a mate works in a local brewery.
