leg trees?

have been looking at possible fruit trees and soft fruit bushes to plant on the allotment and came across leg trees, as far as i can tell they look very similar to cordon trees. if the blurb is to be believed they would be highly tempting to grow.

i was wondering if any one has come across these and what peoples thoughts were.
