Is it too late to sow peas?

As in the title, I have some early onwards? Would it be too late to plant them? and should I get them startedin my drainpipe first just to give them a boost to germinate?

Id have a go,

You'll get a smaller crop, but Im sure you'll get something :-)

I found a few peas left over so I stuck them in yesterday where I'd taken the spuds out.

As they say - they've got two chances. It worked once before, but another time they got mildew.

I don't think they need much of a boost this weather!

I put some in late last year and they grew fine but they weren't good eating so I'm not bothering again.

You got the worst of the two chances!

I wouldn't do it as a matter of course due to the uncertainty of the outcome, but I'd got spare peas - spare ground - so what the hey?
