Sorry to hi-jack here but when my Fidgety F**t bum, also known as Fudge (Boxer) had a litter, in the middle she asked to go outside, we thought she wanted a wee so let her out.  She went under a bush and gave birth to a 'very'deformed puppy and then came back in and had four more.  Animal mothers do seem to know something that we don't know.
