Left with a gap - what to put in it......
« on: July 07, 2008, 16:43 »
Hi,
Last weekend I pulled my broadbeans (made a tasty stew!) and now im left with a 6ft wide gap in my border. The question is what to fill it with. Ive got cabbage in pots i was considering transplanting, ditto sweetcorn or celery, or maybe going to the garden centre and seeing whats available. Can anyone recommend what to put in (If I see anymore spinach, lettuce or radishes im going to go green, im giving it away at work lol)

Thanks
Lee

We have just transplanted cauliflower where  broad beans were and we plan to sow spring greens in a couple of weeks on another plot that grew broad beans .
