Spike The Mole Hunter

This is one of my 2 Jack Russels, Spike. He and his chum Boogie try and turn  my garden into a bomb site by digging for moles. This involves them excavating the entire molehill and tunnels as far as they can with much gusto. They don't seem to realise that anything in there has long gone by the time they have spent 30 minutes chucking soil everywhere.

After they have finished they sit in the conservatory waiting for the mud to dry, before racing into the house and leaving it on the carpet!
=^..^= The early bird may get the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese.

Spike only has one eye now. He had the other one removed last year. It was ruptured when he and Boogie (JRT) had a fight because we put the new ducklings out in their pen and the dogs got too excited and fought.

When we had to put up a temporary duck pen a couple of full grown ducks kept getting out. The dogs regularly chased them, pinned them down and pulled out mouthfuls of feathers - no casualties thankfully.
