Blackberry cultivars - recommendations please

Hi All,

I am planning to invest in 4-5 blackberry varieties. Having having got my hit list I wondered if you folks would be able to be able to offer personal experience of the relative merits and more importantly flavour and vigorousness of the following. I hope I have selected some of the newer and smaller types.

Loch Ness
Loch Tay
Karaka Black
Waldo
Helen

Just the sort of personal recommendation I was looking for. Plant and seed catalogues are always so upbeat that you cannot help wondering if the descriptions are all too good to be true?! I will certainly keep Loch Ness on my hit list.

Don't get dishartened about replies, most peeps never buy but inherit them, so have no clue what name they have if ever did.
