Duck eggs!!!!
Got me 7 black indian runner eggs! Saw some black ones and they were stunning, black with a gorgeous sheen fingers crossed!!

I had some indian runners to go under my broody silkie but the mum was white and dad was brown so I dont know what colour they will be if they hatch !!

Foxy - where exactly did you 'find' them? were they left by the fairies at the bottom of the garden? If so can you ask them to leave some for me! Or just one little eggie in the coop would be nice - not too much to ask from 5 chickens is it?

Are they broody Blulagoo?

If not have you checked for mites? I know they can put hens off laying.
I went through a similar stage a few years back but that was down to my hens age

No, just not old enough - oldest is 20 weeks youngest about 17 weeks - I'm sure it will happen when we are on holiday in August!!

No, no ducks - don't htink OH is going to go for that one just yet - but if some just happened to hatch from under a hen - well that is QUITE a different matter - I wonder how they could get there!!
