But it only lasted about 2 hours here and now it's dry again. There seems to be a bit of an imbalance going on with this rain!

i am looking out of the doors to the canalside and the rain is pouring down. I hope it the same on the lottie just a few miles away my spuds will be all getting they swimming costumes on and having a great time - funny when work is tedious how the mind wanders

Err, what rain. We were promised thunder storms and torrential rain over night and today. Instead, nothing overnight and just a couple of drizzly showers today.

My hubby weighs 18 stone and with his weight on the fork we couldn't dig up the new tatties. Had two hours of gentle rain today which I don't think is going to do anything to help.

We were expecting heavy showers today - a few drops on my way in to work, and nothing since does not fit the definition.

I bet it is raining on Saturday though, when I can get to the plot.

We've had it all week, though it's a lovely sunny evening now. As far as I care it can rain all it wants (well, within reason!) during the week, as long as it's nice at the weekend when I can spend a decent amount of time at the plot!
