Kohl Rabi seeds`

Just received all my seeds from T & M (So exciting - i love it, better than Christmas)

they have sent me some free Kohl Rabi seeds. Has anyone grown this before? Is it easy? and most important what does it taste like?

tastes like cabbage ,.its same family hon so watch for brassica problems .i like it sliced pressure cooked an add a knob butter .salt n pepper to serve kohlrabi is german .. cabbage turnip grow em to below tennis ball size or they get woody you acn eat the elaves as a seperate meal use the turnip raw as well if ya wanna

To me it tastes more like turnip, the rough translation is cabbage turnip, grown a lot in eastern europe, I prefer to eat it raw in salad, but as my long haired hippie looking mate above says dont let it grow any bigger than a tennis ball or it will get woody.
