Gooseberry bush growth

I've got a selection of fruits in the front garden, all of them seem to be growing like mad, except the gooseberry.
Its was already quite big when I planted it, and the bits that are there have leafed up, but there seems to be very little new growth.
Everything else in full sun seems to have more new growth than the gooseberry does total now.

Do they just not grow very quickly, or is it sickly or missing something?

Just seems odd, even the Loganberry that was barely sprouting a few weeks ago has ballooned.

Was it in a pot or transplanted  from the ground ?  

What time of the year did you plant it ?

Did you prune it ?
