How long should i keep the hens of the grass once I have applied feed and weed? it says safe for pets and kids once rained/watered in, but they don't eat it and my girls do...

No idea SG but I'd guess at a good couple of months, try ringing the manufacturer they should be able to give some technical advice.
He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.

Give 'em a ring SG I'm probably well off the mark 4 mowing's during the summer is probably only 2 weeks at most, better to be on the safe side. Just ask about grazing animals they should have some idea or as suggested  Google it try one of the main brand names with the same ingredients.

I know !!!

When we wanted to treat our lawn we contacted the makers of Verdone (weed and feed) and they said that once it has dried it is perfectly safe for the chooks to eat the grass.

Hope that helps SG :D

You trust the manufacturers?

Beware aminopyralid, too, as it passes through animals into their manure, making it unsuitable for use in the garden :!: Might not hurt the chooks but it could kill your spuds  :!:
I demand the right to buy seed of varieties that are not "distinct, uniform and stable".
