Too late for BBs?
« on: June 24, 2008, 10:01 »
My first lot of BBs got scoffed by the pigeons before they got anywhere. I've got some fleece now but the packet says March and April for succession.
The variety I have is Express. I figure I'm way too late but thought I'd check with all you knowledgeable people here. :)
I demand the right to buy seed of varieties that are not "distinct, uniform and stable".

If you've got the space, I'd risk it. They should germinate quickly at this time of year.

Nothing ventured and all that.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

they grow real fast this time of year. I don't remember when was the latest that I sowed them in the past, but was def June.
