I have 5 different vareties of sunflowers to plant on my allotment what kind of space do you think i should leave?

Hi Sunflowers are hardy annuals so they should be ok without just depends on when you are sowing usually march time I think, as for spacing I would guess at about 6" apart depending on variety. Does it say any thing on the packets?

the bigger the plant add  6 inches for giants make it a mtre apart and feeed loads manure .. my biggest is 17 ft tall with a 16 inch head grown for my amhursts , i feel a challenge coming on stat in the greenhouse 2 nd week march with a plastic bottle covering the pots  and repot when 4 inches tall into a 6 inch pot ,plant out first week may .with a hard dug and manured bed .stake it so it dont blow down , you can grow huge ones on a south facing wall :lol:

We grow a real mixture of heights colours single and multiflowwered heads from previous years seeds. Brightens up the plot and seeds dried to eat and for chickens. Sow as sweet peas. even close they grow to almost three metrs ast times.
